Albert Lewis Floyd was born to the late Simon and Jewel Floyd on Friday, July 16, 1948. He passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. He was 76.

Mr. Floyd spent much of his working years doing roofing and yard work. The youngest of his siblings, he was often found smiling and joking with his loved ones and friends. He affectionally assigned different nicknames to his nieces and nephews. He would walk almost anywhere, enjoyed fishing, and made an effort to keep up with how others were doing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his sisters, Johnnie Mae Floyd, Ada Gray, Annie Floyd, Betty Lou Thomas and Josephine Floyd Horton; and his brother, ST Floyd. He is survived by two sisters, Edna Hoskins and Peggy Mackins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
