Daisy (Shipman) Morrell passed on to Glory Sunday August 16, 2020 at The Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Facility in Ozark, AL ending a long battle with Alzheimer.  She was born March 01, 1938 in Barbour County AL. She was the eighth child of nine children born to the late Willie Shipman Sr and Gertha Magwood-Shipman.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one Daughter, Bethsheba (Wallace Jr.) Kennedy of Ozark AL. one Brother: Willie Jr. (Teresa) Shipman of Ft. Meade Md., one Sister: Mary Gamble of Houston Tx., one Grandson: Airrion Kennedy of Ozark Al, two Granddaughters:  Latoya (Theodore Jr) Bilbo of Elgin SC, Natasha Simmons of  Savannah Ga; one Great grandson: Zahmir Simmons of Savannah Ga.; three great granddaughters: Tijah Kennedy of Columbia SC, Zarria Simmons of Savannah Ga, and Liberty Bilbo; one Godson:  Dwayne Roberson; Three who shared a special bond with her:  Frederick McLeod (nephew), Jacqueline Ogutveren (Niece), Asashia Burgess-Hill (Great niece) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
