Mr. Luther C. Hill of Enterprise passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 22, 2019. He was 71. Mr. Hill, who was affectionately known as “Spote,” was a valuable member of the community who loved his family, fishing, and fast cars. He served three years in the United States Army. He then went into civil service where he worked in supply at Army Fleet Support for 25 years. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Loratta Hill, mother, Thelma Hill, and father, Luther Hill Sr. Mr. Hill is survived by his children: his two sons, Anthony Hill (Charlotte, NC) and Johnathon Danelle (Enterprise, AL) and two daughters, Chaquenia Barrow (Timothy) and Tonya Mixon (both of Ozark, AL); eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four brothers, Curtis Hill (Fairfield, IL), Robert Hill (Ozark, AL), Anthony Hill (Sherry) (Indianapolis, IN), and Rickey Hill (Mary) (Louisiana);  three sisters, Shirley Jones (Ozark, AL), Brenda Harris (Ozark, AL), and Norma Rodgers (Montgomery, AL). Also surviving Mr. Hill are a host of nieces and nephews, and several special friends.
