Dianne Rena Brown

On October 7, 2023 our Beautiful Black Butterfly flew one last time to rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dianne Rena (Smith) Brown was born on June 2, 1965 in Henry County, AL to the late Roy Lee and Alma Rene Smith.

Dianne accepted Jesus Christ when she was 11 years old at Greater Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark, AL. After graduating from Carrol High School in 1983 Dianne was employed at Dale County Hospital where she learned to love all types of people and was excited about going to work to tell all about the new journey the day brought her, which would lead to a new family member or friend because she never met a stranger. Through the years she worked several jobs which consist of nursing homes, restaurants and clerical.

Dianne was a faithful member of Believers in Christ Church where she really enjoyed Sunday School, playing the tambourines, singing and expressing how good God had been to her.

Dianne is preceded in death by her Grandparents: Menth and Queenie Whigham Smith, Lemmie Lee and Gladys Owens, Parents: Roy Lee Smith, Alma Rene Jones (Charles). Aunts: Margaret Nelson, Mae Evelyn Robinson, Gladys Merl Mcleod; Uncles: Frankie Lee Smith, James Samuel Owens, Charles Owens, Jimmy Patterson, Eddie Paterson, Daniel Owens; Nieces: Rhonda Latoya Dawkins, Double Cousin: Sandra Loraine Billings.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her sons: Zackary Taylor Baxter Jr. Lyle Matias Brown (Tiva), Grandchildren: Ryan Brown, Leah Brown, Omar Brown and Adin Brown; Sister: Elder, Dr. Linda Faulks (Bishop Walter Faulk) her brother: Robert Smith, Dad: Ronald (Joann Cooper) Nieces: Amanda (Gregory) Guyton, Rachandra Lakendra Smith, Audrianna Smith, Rhayanna Smith, Ashanti Dimond Dawkins, Aryana Faulks, Hannah Faulk; Great Nieces: Aminah Guyton, A’myah Guyton, Reilyn Smith; Nephews: Robert (Robbie) Smith, Great Nephew: Ginie Guyton; Bonus Grandmother: Sally Mac Jones; Aunts: Betty Jean Lesueur, Mary Lois Smith, Ida Gordsmith, Vedora Martin; Bonus Sisters: Cathy Symister, Marilyn Mccray, Faye Barrow, Gloria Russaw, Alice Mitchell Whits. Special Guardian Angels: Paster Shirley Jones, Minister Pastina (John) Cooper, Crestview, FL. and the entire Believers in Christ Church family and a host of cousins and friends.
