Rhonda LaToya Dawkins

Divine Memorial Mortuary respectfully announces the passing of Rhonda LaToya Dawkins, age 40, of Enterprise, AL on April 9, 2022.

Rhonda LaToya Dawkins shocked the Ozark, AL community when she came in this world like a whirlwind on January 10, 1982 at Dale County Hospital; to the proud parents of Ronald William Dawkins and Linda Rene Smith and she hasn’t stopped shocking us yet, even in death.

Rhonda accepted Christ at an early age at Believer in Christ Tabernacle and was baptized. One of her favorite scripture was: Psalm 139:14. Rhonda was a loving free spirit, full of life, and encouraging to all around her which affectionally earned her the names Sunshine and Chocolate Delight to her family and friends. Rhonda was always a very hard worker which kept her in leadership positions, she worked 12 years for the Army Airforce Exchange Services, 7 years MWR, and 5 years in the school district as a cafeteria supervisor.  

Her second heartbeat is her only daughter Ashanti Diamond, whom she loved very much her Ju Ju. She was joined in marriage to Michael Blair “Big Mike” for 14 years.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her great grandparents; Vernie and Euma Mae “Eunice” Thomas, Lemmie and Gladys Owens, Grand Parents Howard and Evelyn Grace Dawkins. Ray Lee Smith, Alma Rene “Pooh” Jones (Charles), aunts and uncles: Otis and Emily Jerry, Margaret Nelson, Glasys Mcleod, Mae Eveyln Robinson, Frankie Lee Smith, Jimmy Patterson, Eddie Patterson, Daniel Owens, James Owens.
